About This Web App:
- In this project, we built a curriculum and course web portal to have all curriculum and course information in one place with easy search and browse interfaces. Currently, in the IT department, course data and information are scattered in various places (apps, webpages, files). These include essential information like course description, learning outcomes, sample syllabus, offering schedule and history. It also includes curriculum development information for department use, such as coordinator, developer, revision/review schedule, open learning materials, etc. We collected all sources of IT course information/files and built a database to integrate the data in one place. Through this, we can build a complete profile of a course and our curriculum. Then, a data driven interactive web app can pull the data from the database and display all course information to users in dynamic views. This is meant to consolidate a large amount of information about IT courses into one place so students and faculty can easily find the otherwise fragmented information.

Research And Development:
- This project is part of a bigger applied research effort on "Curriculum and Student Success" initiated by Dr. Jack Zheng.
- This was the protoype for the Owl Express Flex site created by Dr. Jack Zheng as a model for what the Owl Express search page should look like.

Site Testing/Development Links:
- This link can be used to clear the data in your current session to test if the database getter functions are still working properly, so opening a private/incognito window to test the site again is no longer needed.
