Research Project

One of the effective teaching and learning methods is investigations done by students themselves. This project is designed to allow students explore their own interests and learn from their own experiences. You will select a data visualization related topic which is not covered or under-covered in this class and conduct some investigation yourself to learn about the subject or solve a problem. The project is in nature very exploratory and requires students to be more independent, proactive, and initiative. In this project, we focus on applied research. A typical topic or question should reflect a potential problem and you need to analyze (compare) and evaluate potential solutions to address the problem.
